I could ask the darkness to hide me

and the light around me to become night—

but even in darkness I cannot hide from you.

To you the night shines as bright as day.
    
Darkness and light are the same to you.

Psalm 139:11-12

I can never escape from your Spirit!

Ephesians 65:23-24

Pray in the Spirit at all times 

and on every occasion. 

Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers 

for all believers everywhere.

Ephesians 6:18

…put on every piece of God’s armor

so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil.

…the belt of truth

…the body armor of God’s righteousness.  

…the peace that comes from the Good News 

…the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. 

…salvation as your helmet, 

and take the sword of the Spirit, 

which is the word of God. 

Ephesians 6:13-17 

A final word: 

Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 

Put on all of God’s armor 

so that you will be able to stand firm 

against all strategies of the devil. 

For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, 

but against evil rulers 

and authorities of the unseen world, 

against mighty powers in this dark world, 

and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. 

Ephesians 6:10-12

…for I know the one in whom I trust, 

and I am sure that he is able 

to guard what I have entrusted to him

until the day of his return.

2 Timothy 1:12

Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly 

that in the last times some will turn away 

from the true faith; 

they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings 

that come from demons.
