I have discovered this principle of life—

that when I want to do what is right,

I inevitably do what is wrong.

…Who will free me from this life

that is dominated by sin and death?

The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord…

Romans 7:21, 24

…Now we can serve God,

not in the old way

of obeying the letter of the law

but in the new way

of living in the Spirit.

Romans 7:6

…the wages of sin is death,

but the free gift of God

is eternal life

through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:23

…just as Christ was raised from the dead

by the glorious power of the Father,

now we also may live new lives.

Romans 6:4

…just as sin ruled over all people

and brought them to death,

now God’s wonderful grace rules instead,

giving us right standing with God

and resulting in eternal life

through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 5:21

God decided in advance

to adopt us into his own family

by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ.

This is what he wanted to do

and it gave him great pleasure.

So we praise God

for the glorious grace

he has poured out on us

who belong to his dear Son.

Ephesians 1:5-6

Even before he made the world,

God loved us

and chose us in Christ

to be holy

and without fault in his eyes.

Ephesians 1:4

…You will always harvest what you plant.

Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity,

we should do good to everyone—

especially to those in the family of faith.

Galatians 6:7,10

…those who live to please the Spirit

will harvest everlasting life

from the Spirit.

So let’s not get tired

of doing what is good.

At just the right time

we will reap a harvest of blessing

if we don’t give up.

Galatians 6:8-9

…the Holy Spirit

produces this kind of fruit

in our lives:

love,

joy,

peace,

patience,

kindness,

goodness,

faithfulness,

gentleness,

and self-control…
