Remember that you were once slaves…

and the LORD your God redeemed you!

Deuteronomy 15:15

Jesus said, “I will come and heal him.”

“Lord, I am not worthy to have you come into my home.

Just say the word from where you are,

and my servant will be healed.

When the LORD first began speaking to Israel through Hosea,

he said to him, “Go and marry a prostitute,

so that some of her children will be conceived in prostitution…

Hosea 1:2

…be careful.

Don’t let your heart be deceived

so that you turn away from the LORD

and serve and worship other gods.

Deuteronomy 11:16

As for you, go your way until the end.

You will rest,

and at the end of the days,

you will rise again 

to receive the inheritance set aside for you.

Daniel 12:13

…at that time every one of your people

whose name is written in the book will be rescued.

Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky,

and those who lead many to righteousness

will shine like the stars forever.

Daniel 12:1, 3

“But that is the time to be careful!

Beware that in your plenty

you do not forget the LORD your God…

…when you have become full and prosperous…

…be careful!  Do not become proud…

and forget the LORD your God…

never say to yourself,

‘I have achieved this wealth with my own strength and energy.’

Remember the LORD your God.

Deuteronomy 8:11-14; 17-18

…just as you can identify a tree by its fruit,

so you can identify people by their actions.

Matthew 7:20

…you must love the LORD your God

with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. 

And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly 

to these commands that I am giving you today.

Repeat them again and again to your children.

Talk about them when you are at home

and when you are on the road,

when you are going to bed

and when you are getting up.
