…Look! I am going to put breath into you
and make you live again!
…I will put breath into you,
and you will come to life.
Then you will know that I am the LORD.

…Look! I am going to put breath into you
and make you live again!
…I will put breath into you,
and you will come to life.
Then you will know that I am the LORD.

A man with leprosy came and knelt in front of Jesus,
begging to be healed.
“If you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean,” he said.
Moved with compassion,
Jesus reached out and touched him.
“I am willing,” he said, “Be healed!”

…They will ask,
‘why did the LORD do such terrible things to this land…?’
“And the answer will be,
‘Because his people abandoned the LORD…’”

At times I might shut up the heavens
so that no rain falls,
or command grasshoppers to devour your crops,
or send plagues among you.
Then if my people who are called by my name
will humble themselves and pray and seek my face
and turn from their wicked ways,
I will hear from heaven
and will forgive their sins and restore their land.
My eyes will be open and my ears attentive
to every prayer made…

“Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit
and understand what he is saying to the churches.
To everyone who is victorious,
I will give some of the manna
that has been hidden away in heaven.
And I will give to each one a white stone,
and on the stone will be engraved a new name
that no one understand except the one who receives it.

…his face was like the sun in all its brilliance.
When I saw him,
I fell at his feet as if I were dead.
But he laid his right hand on me and said,
“Don’t be afraid!
I am the First and the Last.
I am the living one.
I died, but look—
I am alive forever and ever!
And I hold the keys of death and the grave.

I am the Alpha and the Omega—
the beginning and the end,
says the Lord God.
“I am the one who is,
who always was,
and who is still to come—
the Almighty One.”

“O our God,
we thank you and praise your glorious name!
But who am I,
and who are my people,
that we could give anything to you?
Everything we have has come from you,
and we give you only what you first gave us!
We are here for only a moment,
visitors and strangers in the land
as our ancestors were before us.
Our days on earth are like a passing shadow,
gone so soon without a trace.

Yours, O LORD, is the greatness,
the power, the glory, the victory,
and the majesty.
Everything in the heavens
and on earth is yours, O LORD,
and this is your kingdom.
We adore you as the one who is over all things.

“Be strong and courageous, and do the work.
Don’t be afraid or discouraged,
for the LORD God, my God, is with you.
He will not fail you or forsake you…
