…let’s stop condemning each other.

Decide instead to live in such a way

that you will not cause another believer

to stumble and fall.

Romans 14:13

…we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.

For the Scriptures say,

“As surely as i live,” says the LORD,

every knee will bend to me,

and every tongue will confess

and give praise to God.”

Yes, each of us will give

a personal account to God.

Romans 14:10-12

Accept other believers who are weak in the faith,

and don’t argue wth them

about what they think is right or wrong.

Romans 14:1

…time is running out.

Wake up,

for our salvation is nearer now

than when we first believed.

The night is almost gone;

the day of salvation will soon be here.

So remove your dark deeds like dirty clothes,

and put on the shining armor of right living.

Romans 13:11-12

…never take revenge.

Leave that to the righteous anger of God…

Instead,

“If your enemies are hungry, feed them.

If they are thirsty, give them something to drink.

In doing this, you will heap

burning coals of shame on their heads.”

Romans 12:19-20

Never pay back evil with more evil.

Do things in such a way

that everyone can see you are honorable.

Do all that you can

to live in peace with everyone.

Romans 12:17-18

Live in harmony with each other.

Don’t be too proud

to enjoy the company of ordinary people.

And don’t think you know it all!

Romans 12:16

Bless those who persecute you.

Don’t curse them,

pray that God will bless them.

Romans 12:14

Rejoice in our confident hope.

Be patient in trouble,

and keep on praying.

Romans 12:12

Don’t just pretend to love others.

Really love them.

Hate what is wrong.

Hold tightly to what is good.

Romans 12:9
