Show your fear of God

by not taking advantage of each other.

I am the LORD your God.

Leviticus 25:17

As you harvest your crops,

bring the very best of the first harvest

to the house of the LORD your God…

Exodus 34:26

…I am sending an angel before you

to protect you on your journey

and lead you safely to the place

I have prepared for you.

Exodus 23:20

Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.

For in six days the LORD made the heavens,

the earth, the sea, and everything in them;

but on the seventh day he rested.

That is why the LORD blessed the Sabbath day

and set it apart as holy.

Exodus 20:8,11

“I am the LORD your God…

You must not have any other god but me.

You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind…

…for I, the LORD your God,

am a jealous God

who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods…

Exodus 20:2-5

…You know how I carried you on eagles’ wings

and brought you to myself.

Now if you will obey me

and keep my covenant,

you will be my own special treasure

from among all the peoples on earth;

for all the earth belongs to me. 

Exodus 19:4-5

“Who is like you among the gods, O LORD—

glorious in holiness,

awesome in splendor,

performing great wonders?

“With your unfailing love you lead

the people you have redeemed.

In your might, you guide them

to your sacred home.

Exodus 15:11,13

“Lift your hand toward heaven,

and the land of Egypt will be covered with a darkness

so thick you can feel it.”

So Moses lifted his hand to the sky,

and a deep darkness covered the entire land of Egypt

for three days.

During all that time the people could not see each other,

and no one moved.

But there was light as usual where the people of Israel lived.
