May the Lord bless you
and protect you.
May the Lord smile on you
and be gracious to you.
May the Lord show you his favor
and give you his peace.

In the last days,
the mountain of the LORD’s house will be the highest of all—
the most important place on earth.
It will be raised above the other hills,
and people from all over the world
will stream there to worship.
“In that coming day,”
says the LORD…
“I,
the LORD,
will rule from Jerusalem as their king forever.”
“Praise the Lord,
the God of Israel,
because he has visited and redeemed his people.
He has sent us a mighty Savior
from the royal line of his servant David,
just as he promised
through his holy prophets long ago.
Because of God’s tender mercy,
the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us,
to give light to those who sit in darkness
and in the shadow of death,
and to guide us to the path of peace.”
Let all that I am praise the LORD.
O LORD my God,
how great you are!
You are robed with honor and majesty.
You are dressed in a robe of light.
You stretch out the starry curtain of the heavens;
you lay out the rafters of your home in the rain clouds.
You make the clouds your chariot;
you ride upon the wings of the wind.
The winds are your messengers;
flames of fire are your servants.

All praise to God,
the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
It is by his great mercy that we have been born again,
because God raised Jesus Christ
from the dead.
Now we live with great expectation,
and we have a priceless inheritance—
an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you,
pure and undefiled,
beyond the reach of change and decay.
And through your faith,
God is protecting you by his power…
The LORD is king!
Let the earth rejoice!
Let the farthest coastlands be glad.
Dark clouds surround him…
Fire spreads ahead of him…
His lightning flashes out across the world…
The mountains melt like wax before the LORD…
The heavens proclaim his righteousness;
every nation sees his glory
…for every god must bow to him.
