At that very time,
Jesus cured many people of their diseases,
illnesses,
and evil spirits,
and he restored sight to many who were blind.
“Go back to John and tell him what you have seen and heard—
the blind see,
the lame walk,
those with leprosy are cured,
the deaf hear,
the dead are raised to life,
and the Good News is being preached to the poor.”
Luke 7:21-21

Blessings of Asking The Lord To Do The Hard Things Through You
But to you who are willing to listen,
I say,
love your enemies!
Do good to those who hate you.
Bless those who curse you.
Pray for those who hurt you.
Blessings of Knowing Jesus
Jesus answered them,
“Healthy people don’t need a doctor—
sick people do.
I have come to call
not those who think they are righteous,
but those who know they are sinners
and need to repent.”

Blessings of Believing That He Will
“You are blessed because you believed
that the Lord would do what he said.”
“Oh,
how my soul praises the Lord.
How my spirit rejoices in God my Savior!”

Blessings of Believing What The High Priest Did Not
But Jesus was silent and made no reply.
Then the high priest asked him,
“Are you the Messiah,
the Son of the Blessed One?”
Jesus said,
“I AM.
And you will see the Son of Man
seated in the place of power at God’s right hand
and coming on the clouds of heaven.”
Blessings of Watching For The Master
“…keep watch!
For you don’t know
when the master of the household will return—
in the evening,
at midnight,
before dawn,
or at day break.
Don’t let him find you sleeping
when he arrives without warning.
I say to you what I say to everyone:
Watch for him!”
Blessings of Knowing The One To Praise
“Praise God!
Blessings on the one who comes
in the name of the LORD!
Blessings on the coming Kingdom
of our ancestor David!
Praise God in highest heaven!”
Blessings of Acknowledging Internal Struggles
“Have mercy on us and help us,
if you can.”
“What do you mean,
‘If I can’?”
Jesus asked.
“Anything is possible if a person believes.”
The father instantly cried out,
“I do believe,
but help me overcome my unbelief!”
Blessings of The Return of God’s Glory
Suddenly,
the glory of the God of Israel
appeared from the east.
The sound of his coming was like the roar
of rushing waters,
and the whole landscape shone with his glory.
And the glory of the LORD
came into the Temple through the east gateway.
…and the glory of the LORD filled the Temple.
The LORD said to me,
“Son of man,
this is the place of my throne
and the place where I will rest my feet.
I will live here forever among the people of Israel.”
Blessings of Remembering That Jesus Works Miracles
“Why are you arguing about having no bread?
Don’t you know or understand even yet?
Are your hearts too hard to take it in?
‘You have eyes—can’t you see?
You have ears—can’t you hear?’
Don’t you remember anything at all?”
Mark 8:17-18
