For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity.

but of power, 

love, 

and self-discipline. 

So never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord…

2 Timothy 1:7-8

Jesus replied,

“If you only knew the gift God has for you

and who you are speaking to,

you would ask me,

and I would give you living water.”

…those who drink the water I give

will never be thirsty again.

It becomes a fresh,

bubbling spring within them,

giving them eternal life.”

John 4:10, 14

…anyone who believes in God’s Son 

has eternal life.

Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son

will never experience eternal life

but remains under God’s angry judgment.

John 3:36

For God so loved the world, 

that he gave his only begotten Son, 

that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, 

but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

…There is one God and one Mediator

who can reconcile God and humanity—

the man Christ Jesus.

He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone.

1 Timothy 2:5-6

…pray for all people.

Ask God to help them;

intercede on their behalf,

and give thanks for them. 

This is good and pleases God our Savior,

who wants everyone to be saved

and to understand the truth. 

1 Timothy 2:1, 3

…fight well in the Lord’s battles.

Cling to your faith in Christ,

and keep your conscience clear.

1 Timothy 1:18-19

This is a trustworthy saying,

and everyone should accept it:

“Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”…

1 Timothy 1:15

…Pray that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly

and be honored wherever it goes…

May the Lord lead your hearts 

into a full understanding and expression

of the love of God

and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.

2 Thessalonians 3:1, 5

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself

and God our Father,

who loved us and by his grace

gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope,

comfort you and strengthen you

in every good thing you do and say.
