Only fools say in their hearts,
“There is no God.”
But God released him from the horrors of death
and raised him back to life,
for death could not keep him in its grip.
And we know that God causes everything
to work together
for the good of those who love God
and are called according to his purpose for them.
Then Jesus took them through the writings of Moses
and all the prophets,

“Dear woman, why are you crying?”
Jesus asked her.
“Who are you looking for?”
She thought he was the gardener.
“Sir,” she said, “if you have taken him away,
tell me where you have put him,
and I will go and get him.”
“Mary!” Jesus said.

If you are filled with light, with no dark corners,
then your whole life will be radiant…”
Luke 11:34-36
…And suddenly,
the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple
was torn down the middle.
Then Jesus shouted,
“Father, I entrust my spirit into your hands!”…
Jesus said, “This is how you should pray:
“Father, may your name be kept holy.
May your Kingdom come soon.
Give us each day the food we need,
and forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us.
And don’t let us yield to temptation.
But the Lord said to her,
“My dear Martha,
you are worried and upset over all these details!
There is only one thing worth being concerned about.
Mary has discovered it,
and it will not be taken away from her.”
