As long as the earth remains,

there will be planting and harvest,

cold and heat,

summer and winter,

In the beginning the Word already existed.

The Word was with God,

and the Word was God.

He existed in the beginning with God.

God created everything through him,

and nothing was created except through him.

John 1:1-3

It was also written that this message

would be proclaimed in the authority of his name

to all the nations,

beginning in Jerusalem:

‘There is forgiveness of sins for all who repent.’
