So obey the commands

of the LORD your God

by walking in his ways

and fearing him.

Deuteronomy 8:6

Understand, therefore,

that the LORD your God

is indeed God.

He is the faithful God

who keeps his covenant

for a thousand generations

and lavishes his unfailing love

on those who love him

and obey his commands.

Deuteronomy 7:9

…The LORD is our God,

the LORD alone.

And you must love the LORD your God

with all your heart,

all your soul,

and all your strength.

Deuteronomy 6:4-5

You must not misuse the name

of the LORD your God.

The LORD will not let you go unpunished

if you misuse his name.

The voice of the LORD echoes above the sea.

The God of glory thunders.

The LORD thunders over the mighty sea.

Psalm 29:3

So remember this

and keep it firmly in mind:

the LORD is God

both in heaven and on earth,

and there is no other.

Deuteronomy 4:39

…you saw how the LORD your God

cared for you all along the way

as you traveled through the wilderness,

just as a father cares for his child.
